I’m Lottie Ion, and these pages contain my general ramblings on things both scientific and adventurous.

My background: I have two bachelors degrees – one in Chemistry and one in Biomedical Science – and subsequently worked in breast cancer research before doing an MSc in Science Communication. I now work in data analysis and insights for a cancer charity, and am increasingly interested in who does not access support and why, and what support actually looks like for different people.

I love climbing, mountaineering, wild swimming (especially through winter), yoga, and being in nature. My background in science means I am always curious about the deeper meaning behind the things I am passionate about.
